According to Seabourn, the ship can safely sail without using its stabilizers.
First Antarctica season
The new expedition ship is currently operating its first Antarctica season, which includes crossings of the often rough Drake Passage.
Seabourn Venture’s Antarctica program ends March 10 when the ship begins sailing along the coast of Brazil and along the Amazon River. Seabourn Venture was then scheduled to reposition to Western Europe.
The canceled cruise dates are April 7 (nine days), April 16 (12 days) and April 28 (14 days).
Dry dock details to come
Seabourn could not immediately provide information about where the dry dock will take place.
The 23,000gt ship was delivered by T. Mariotti in June. Sister Seabourn Quest is due for completion soon.
