‘Art Gallery Society members have a genuine passion for art, an interest which will no doubt resonate with the destination-rich travel and cultural experiences available on Regent voyages,’ Executive Director Robert Heather said.

‘From meticulously curated onboard art collections and immersive lectures from art historians during days at sea, to exploring galleries the world over on shore, Regent guests continue to demonstrate their appreciation of a wide range of artistic pursuits,’ RSSC’s SVP and MD Steve Odell said.

‘We look forward to sharing the Regent experiences with members of the Art Gallery Society of NSW,’ he added.

Seven Seas Splendor’s A$7m collection

Odell pointed out that the company had invested A$7m in a 300-piece art collection for its most recent ship, Seven Seas Splendor, which made its debut in February 2020.

The collection, which includes works by Pablo Picasso, was sourced from artists and galleries around the world and took nearly two years to curate and commission.
