The vessel is to return to service from Port Canaveral on Saturday.
Carnival Freedom will embark on a five-day cruise to Nassau, Princess Cays and Grand Turk.
It was at Grand Turk on May 26 that a fire broke out in the funnel while the ship was alongside. The blaze was quickly extinguished by Carnival Freedom’s emergency response team and there were no injuries.
However, Carnival had to deploy Carnival Conquest to return the Freedom passengers to Canaveral, and three subsequent cruises were canceled so repairs could be made.
