COVID-19 spike stateside/new Bahamas restrictions
Recent days have seen a spike in COVID-19 cases in many states and the Bahamas announced new restrictions, requiring travelers to present a negative swab test prior to entry.
Demand for cruises
‘Upon announcing that we would resume cruising in late July, we were thrilled to see a great deal of demand, demonstrating that there is a strong appetite amongst travelers for our unique short-cruise “microcation” product,’ CEO Oneil Khosa said.
Bahamas Paradise became the first cruise line to have achieved ‘green status’ from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for its crew safety protocols under the US no-sail order.
The CDC, however, has not begun to consider cruise line plans to resume passenger service.
